Growing up, I attended ten schools in twelve years across the world while my father served in the United States Air Force. Those experiences shaped me deeply, instilling a love of people, a curiosity about the world, and a lifelong passion for learning.
For more than 30 years, I served in public education—as a classroom teacher and later as an administrator—giving me a rare, comprehensive view of the K–12 experience. I have seen firsthand what students, families, and educators need to thrive, and I understand the challenges and opportunities within our schools.

 

With my recent retirement, I now have the opportunity to serve my community in a new and broader way. That is why I am a candidate for the Paulding County School Board. As a twice widowed mother of a soon to be college graduate, I bring
not only professional experience but also personal resilience, perspective, and a deep commitment to the wellbeing of our children and families. I look forward to serving Paulding County with integrity, compassion, and a steadfast focus on student success.
